Christmas Day

This Christmas was a very special Christmas for the Pena family because its Kenneth's First Christmas. It has been very interesting watching Kenneth look and the christmas tree and the gifts under the tree with confusion. We battled him for the month the tree was up with taking the ornaments off the tree, pulling the garlin and taking the bows of the gifts. It was so funny to watch him snatch an ornament off the tree and then run down the hall to try and keep it away from his mommy and daddy.

Boys with be boys!

Kenneth has a new fascination with Tucker's dog food. Adjoining our kitchen is a small walk way that connects you to the bedrooms and bathroom. In that walk way we keep Tucker's crate and Tuckers food. Everyday Kenneth will spot that blue dog bowl and walk over there (knowing he isn't supposed to) he will turn around and look and see if you are watching him, slide his little hand down to the floor and pick up a piece of dog food and once again turn around to see if you are watching, then quickly pop it in his mouth and take off running down the hall. It is so funny to watch him do this knowing that he knows he isn't supposed to. Every time he gets that piece of dog food in his mouth he gets the big grin on his face!


Kenneth has a tendency to fuss when he is on one side of the baby gate and you are on the other side. Most of the time when I'm in the kitchen, Kenneth is in the kitchen also. He loves to help mommy by pulling the swiffer off the wall and dragging the pots and pans out of the cabinet.


Kenneth is at the age where he is into everything, everday is an adventure, a memory and picture. I cant wait to share it with you!

Barganier-Herman Family Brunch

Every Christmas the Herman-Barganier families get together and enjoy each others company for a Christmas Brunch at the Capital City Club. This year was especially exciting because it is Kenneth's first Christmas. Each family that attends takes a family picture in front of the beautiful Christmas Tree. We always look forward to these pictures!




Mr. and Mrs. Clause is always there to take pictures and pass out goodies to the children. We were so excited to see Kenneth sitting in Santa's lap with out crying. Most children this age scream when you try and sit them with Santa Clause. As you can see Kenneth is a little unsure about the whole situation but no crying!!!





Here is a picture of Kenneth standing in the window seal over looking the city of Montgomery in the room we rent out for the brunch. He really enjoyed looking out the window. We had a great time at the brunch watching all the children run around the room and watching everyone hold and love on Kenneth.

Splish Splash I was taking a bath...

So I was giving Kenneth a bath the other day, which by the way he absolutely loves getting a

bath, and he was just cracking me up. Often times when it is bath time we sing a song to him.."Splish Splash I was taking a bath..." every time we sing that song to him no matter where we are or the time of day he always gets this big smile on his face and starts dancing. Well the other day he realized that he can stand up in the bath tub. I was excited to see him to that but at the same time I thought to myself "Oh great...this is going to make bath time even more interesting than it already is" Kenneth was standing up in his little blue seat, he finagled his leg out, so at this time he his standing up in his seat with one leg out of his seat and one leg in his seat. Well he notices his rubber duck..Kenneth dives out of his seat, makes a big splash and catches he little rubber duck. Kenneth looks up at me as he is laying there in the water, looks at his chair and then lets out this big giggle. It was so cute I thought that I would share this with all of you!

My first time!

Okay so I'm new to the whole blog thing but I think that I am going to really enjoy it. Originally I started this just because I was bored at work but as I continued on picking out my background, adding images and personal information about me and the family I decided you know what..This would be a good way for everyone especially our out-of-town friends and family to keep up with us.
